Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day operational tasks related to the procurement of our products.
  • Assist in the smooth implementation of critical aspects of the buying process to ensure timely information and relevant details are passed on to suppliers and internal teams.
  • Working on the organisation’s cloud-based collaboration and project management tool to ensure key tasks are lined up and allocated to the responsible teams. The candidate will need to monitor that the assigned tasks are completed within the stipulated time by responsible teams/individuals.
  • Generating and evaluating MIS to ensure an optimised procurement process, and inventory planning.
  • Providing support to the marketing team and senior management.
  • Coordination with the IT team for streamlining and upgrade in reports and processes related to the procurement process
  • Liaise & follow up with suppliers regarding,
  • Product availability – for re-orders as well as new products,
  • Required documents and product details
  • Product delivery timelines
  • Support the customer services team to resolve customer queries.
  • Any additional project tasks that may be allocated from time to time.
  • Sourcing quality suppliers and negotiating prices worldwide.
  • Maintaining relations with existing suppliers.
